Dream Quest is a roguelike deckbuilding game that draws inspiration from renowned titles such as Ascension, Magic: the Gathering, and Shandalar. With randomly generated levels, players can embark on short, 30-minute sessions exploring as one of 13 distinct classes. Whether it's navigating through crypts as a wizard, delving underwater as a warrior, or stalking volcanic wastelands as an assassin, each run offers a unique experience.

As you progress in the game, your characters earn achievements that enhance future runs by providing various benefits and adding depth to the gameplay. The core combat mechanic revolves around engaging in card battles. Players develop their abilities by assembling a deck of cards and gaining power. For example, a thief begins with Slice cards and a Backstab but can acquire defensive moves like Dodge or powerful finishing attacks like Coup de Grace. The strategic selection of cards to include in your deck is crucial to excelling in combat, as wise decisions lead to effortlessly dispatching monsters while poor choices may result in self-inflicted stumbles.
